Sharp Interview is owned and operated by Tachara LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how users can request account deletion.

We may collect the following information when you use Sharp Interview:

Account information
– Email address
– Username
– Display name, if you choose to provide one
– Password, stored only as a secure hash and never in plain text

Study and progress information
– Question answers, attempts, correctness, and mastery progress
– Completed tutorial chapters
– Viewed LeetCode problems
– Study session history, including topic, mode, score, and answer activity

Support information
– Information you send to us when contacting support

2. How We Use Information

Tachara LLC uses this information to:
– Create and manage your account
– Authenticate sign-in and keep your account secure
– Provide quizzes, flashcards, tutorials, and learning content
– Save and sync your study progress
– Support password reset and account recovery
– Improve app reliability and user experience
– Respond to support requests

3. Content Data

Sharp Interview includes interview questions, flashcards, and learning content stored as application or server content files. This shared educational content is not personal user data.

4. Data Storage and Security

User account and study data are stored using backend infrastructure, including MongoDB Atlas. We use reasonable security measures to protect data, including:
– HTTPS in production
– Password hashing
– Authenticated access to protected account endpoints

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

5. Sharing of Information

Tachara LLC does not sell or rent personal data. We may use service providers such as hosting, database, email, and infrastructure providers only as needed to operate the app.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and study data while your account remains active, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

7. Account Deletion

Users can request deletion of their account in either of these ways:

In the app
– Open Sharp Interview
– Go to Settings
– Tap Delete account
– Enter your password
– Confirm deletion

If you have any issue deleting your account in the app, email us at info@tachara.online and request account deletion.

When an account is deleted, we delete:
– Account record
– Email, username, and display name associated with the account
– Saved question progress
– Completed tutorials and viewed LeetCode activity associated with the account
– Study session history associated with the account

Shared interview content, such as quizzes, flashcards, and tutorials, remains available because it is not personal account data.

8. Children’s Privacy

Sharp Interview is not directed to children under 13, and Tachara LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date.
